May these Memories Break Our Fall

OVERDUE POST. I apologize for being too busy and for being too indolent at the same time.

I am taking this moment, promising you this-- I'll stand by you forever but if god forbid, I'll twist fate so it would step in. I will never say goodbye. I'll point to your picture and tell my children your name, how the crowds went wild, and your hopes for them to shine. Long live!

June 6, 2014; one of the happiest nights of my life. Yes, you can tell me now that I'm the lucky one.

Apparently, Taylor Swift flew to Asia for the last leg of her tour. Y'all know how I mourned a few years ago for missing Speak Now World Tour but then again, I dunno what to say since the twist of fate when it all broke down... lol. I'm still so speechless after everything! I mean, being able to buy tickets despite the "hunger games", being able to win VIP tickets from Cornetto, and finally, being able to see her live and upclose! Everything is still surreal!

Commencing Photodump. 3...2...1...

This is when our hearts started racing. There was like a war-like sound whatsoever and then boom! Red lights, curtains, and State of Grace's intro! Taylor's silhouette was there and oiehderowihferiwhfir. No photos of that 'cause I only have a video which I can't upload. Hihi.

RE-E-E-E-ED! Taylor gave her hat away... to someone else. Whoever you are, lucky you! And here she is, singing the name of her tour. With instruments of the same color! Ahhhh!

The Lucky One performance! Old Hollywood theme, very fabulous! Not really my favorite song off the album but this is one cool performance.

She changed wardrobes and is now wearing a polka-dotted skirt! She delivered her speech and sang Mean using her banjo.

22 is such an energetic spiel! Jelly of other Swifties who get to touch her hand tho, huhu. She went B-side and sang acoustic versions of Fearless, You Belong With Me, and Sparks Fly! Oh, noticed her shirt? It says "MANILA"!

I Knew You Were Trouble! See the costume change? The queen's oozing hot! Her super rad dance moves and that costume totally ousted her from the country scene but hey, what's not to love?

ALL TOO WELL!!! Apparently, she didn't cry like she did in other countries. We don't know why but heck, she smiled!

Ahhhh, Love Story! Nothing but memories. This is where it all started! This song just takes me back in time. Too nostalgic, actually.

WEEEEE ARE NEVER EVER EVERRRRR GETTING BACK TOGETHER! The song marks the end of the show! I hope we still get back together tho, love! See you on your fifth album tour Manila!

Clockwork

Life is a series of tests. In my 19 years of existence, the most important thing I tend to always forget (or ignore, even) is the art of perfect timing. Having a short temper and a bad case of social anxiety made matters worse all because I can't help but feel intimidated and sad most of the time. And when I said sad I meant, the kind of sad that takes a loooooot of  time. Intimidated, well, I am beyond insecure and I considered not going out anymore. Geez, do I sound so bad?

I told you a lot of times about being left behind by "that person I liked" when we were bound to ride the ferriswheel. To say that all I felt was nothing but excruciating emotional pain is an understatement. That and my first ever Taylor Swift concert experience --which I never get to experience, by the way, because "they" left me-- are the reasons why I always felt so insignificant. I merely gave up and moved on until I finally had the chance to redeem all the pain it caused me. Surprises, yes, they come unexpectedly.

It turns out God is emptying our hands for something better. I may had one of the worst heartbreaks in my life as regards to the ferriswheel but in it, I also shared my first real kiss with the only guy who loved me for me. As for Taylor, news just in! Selecta Cornetto called me up yesterday saying I won VIP tickets to the Red Tour this June!!! Ahhhh! Call me blessed not lucky for this is all from God! All thanks to Him! Truth be told, I was kinda down the whole week because of something I got rejected of and then this!!! I vow to never lose hope anymore because He blesses the deserving people.

2013: What is left for me to say?

I was about to compose a year-end post like most of my online friends did until it suddenly hit me-- compared to theirs, my life is tad too boring for this kind of thing.

However, I am darn jelly and it's been a must for me to assess what happened to the year that was. What's left for me to write?

A bad breakup, maybe? Nah-uh. In fact, you should congratulate me for being the contrary! For the first time in years, I finally got myself a freaking boyfriend! 15th January, my birthday, I finally said yes to my then bestfriend. It was surreal, really, for I am the type of girl who's most unlikely to be in a relationship for being one of the boys but then again, I stand corrected. There is time for everything and currently, we are on our way to celebrating our first year anniversary. I am beyond happy being in this relationship, indeed! Shout out to the awesome-st boyfriend there is; I love you to the moon and back! (Back story, read)

An out of town trip with friends? Again, no way. Setting aside the fact that I got myself into several feuds this year (mehehehe), I was able to bond and grew closer(-er!) with my awesome girls. We are now on our third year in college and still unstoppable! Albeit, let us not forget the ruined bonds (RIP) and the new ones that were formed. Yay for new friends and nay for frenemies! Hiyeeeaaahhh! Feel the sarcasm on the last part.

Oh, oh! An award? Still, no. I wasn't able to bring any bacon home this year but I entered this thingy where I was asked to deliver an impromptu speech. Just, hahahahahaha, let's not talk about it. Speaking of award, I think this counts. Last semester, we had a terror prof. How should I start describing him? He is a dictator-- Hitler's reincarnation, probably. He is scary, intimidating, what else? He is lovable... sweet, smart, thoughtful, and funny. Despite all the difficulties he showered upon us, I am proud to say that I was once the highest in his exams and I was top 3 on his Midterm grade ranking! Ha! And not only that, my clique got close to him and yadda yadda, he wasn't that bad of a man, he's an inspiration.

Ok, I give up. No, don't Last year was tough and I never gave up. I toughened up and showed the world who's the boss. 2013 will say bye in just a few hours and let me share with you the most important thing it taught me; Always be confident and believe in yourself. Don't be an ersatz for it won't lead you anywhere. Be yourself and you will see everything fall into place. Cheers to year that was! Happy New Year and let's all be productive in 2014! xx

PS: Woah there! Looks like my life's not that boring at all!
PPS: ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! Hablo Español. ¡Ja! ¡Ja! ¡Ja!
PPPS: This is one corny post.
PPPPS: This acronym (minus the S) reminds me of PNoy's Pantawid Pamilya Program HAHAHAHHAHA Random

The Full Force Birthday Experience

Here goes my first post for twenty-thirteen! Hey, y'all! How ya doin'? Before we go to the part where I rant about the recent best thing that happened in my life, I think it's obligatory to post a simple greeting like this since I haven't posted anything for a while and we're halfway through the month and... you get me. I'm sort of neglecting my baby bloggie and knowing me, you know that I feel bad every time it happens. Apologies, readers! (If I have one, lol) It's a part of my resolution to be more active but heck, school's draining the energy outta me so I can't manage but I'll try to keep you posted for time to time! Deal?

Anyway, I just turned 18! Hurraaaahhhh! I'm minor no more and... I still look like one? LOL, I kid. But everybody knows that so I won't argue anymore. Hihi. And I guess I had the best birthday surprise a girl could ever ask for. Commencing story in 3...2...1...

...

It's a normal day for everyone and a not-so normal day for me. 15th January 2013, I'm going legal! I didn't expect for anything to happen, except for a few greetings maybe, but not all these swoon-worthy surprises which totally struck me with giddiness, awe, and every synonym you can find. Let me hear your shrieks; eeeehhh!

I went to school on my usual time-- 5 something, and arrive there eventually like, 6 something. I bumped into Jans on my way to school so we just went together. Yeah, they all greeted me, even Chella and Charmaine who just dropped by, and Dhanica, Rhea, Charry, and many others too. All my friends were like "Ano ba meron ngayon?" or "Mayro'n bang may birthday?" yadda yadda. I knew they were kidding but heck, it made me feel bad! They've been doing it for days and when I said they, the boy is included. For cries' sake! I even felt like crying. And t'was the same reason why I didn't expect a lot, really. Sigh. But not until we went out after being dismissed early.

We arrived at the IR square like nothing's gonna happen. My friends and I went down to grab a quick brekky at the canteen and we even came back shortly. I really didn't know that there was a surprise until I set foot back in the IR Square and everybody broke into a song singing "Happy Birthday, Jowi" to me! I was so caught off-guard, I didn't know how to react. All the singing is nice and touching but what's nicer and more touching is when my boy came out in the middle of the song, handing me a bouquet of Ferrero! It was helluva surprise since I told him months ago that ever since, I've been dying to receive one and I didn't know that he was going to give it to me sooner than I thought he will. Eep! I'm guessing everyone's more kilig than I was since all my friends and all the by-passers are smiling and in awe!

That magical moment. ♥
With thy college barkada, minus some Teehee.

And I thought that was it. English class passed and my teacher who has the same birthday was surprise by my classmates too. After which, we then evacuated and moved to our Research Method room wherein we did nothing so I was expecting to have some daldalan sessions with Rhea who was nowhere in sight. I didn't wonder why 'cause I thought I got all my surprises that day so I looked for Ralph instead. He also ditched the class so I sent him an SMS wherein he replied; "I'm having my brekky, see you later!" Yeah and I failed to notice that Charmaine was MIA too. For an hour and 30, I read Paper Towns with the thought that my friends didn't even prepared for my birthday 'cause it came to me that they must have thought that I now have a boy and I no longer need them. D'awww. Little did I know that they will come towards the end of the class and surprise me with cakes! Then, they lead me into the next room and on my seat lies a note (or notes in this case) which has "18 Reasons Why I Love You" written on it. Eeeehhhh! *insert super kilig emoticon here* Too bad I can't supply you with photos, they haven't uploaded yet! But I will update this if ever.

This has been the greatest birthday so far. Thanks, guys! You totally saved me from slashing my wrist. Jk! But really, thanks. I love you all!

PHOTODUMP: Badet's 18th Birthday Celebration

Sooo, a close friend held her debut last night at Hotel H2o somewhere in Manila and-- voila! Here's a blogpost dedicated to our vanity. I won't be posting lotsa pictures though, just a few of which I looked decent in. Teehee.

DISCLAIMER: Photos aren't mine, they're Danela Bautista's and Suzanne Ubaldo's. Thank you, Dane and Zhayne!

At Charry's dorm. Ready to go!

With my girl, Rhea.

Candid. This was pre-party, actually. I know, I looked stress, and that's because I was caught in the middle of a misunderstanding with my baby, Janice. We're fine now, though!

With Rhea, Suzanne and Agatha while waiting for the debutant!

5/16 of Full Force! This was during the duration of the program, I guess. With Ralph, Charry, Sam, and Jans.

Two of my bestfriends, my boy, and Pong right there but concealed, had a little something for Badet so yeah, they were at the stage, singing.

With you-know-who, my you-know-what-his-role-in-my-life-is. ♥

After everything else. With 3/5 of Awesome Foursome! And you know what's crazy? We're all wearing lace and we didn't even talked about it.

With my girls! Almost everyone's single-- pick one! Lol.

With Badet, the birthday girl! And Full Force. And some people from my school and I don't really know them.

With Charry, Kisses, and Sam! This was at the dance showdown I guess. HAHA. Guess who won.

At Liquid! The after-party we all went to. Guess who had Vanilla Milkshake and was reading 50 Shades instead. Thanks a lot, dad and your extended security, my future boyf.

Closing this blog with a photo of yours truly. Hihi. They wanted it to be colorful so I wore striking orange and blue. Teehee.

I had fun and I know everybody does as well. Thank you, Badet! We owe you one. Be one of the fiercest girls out there 'cause I know you're an amazona. Love you!
