Unexpected things happened over the year -- yes, things. From good to bad, yay to nay, yadda yadda, the list goes on. It's just a hell of a roller coaster ride. I'm still enjoying it but it's about to end. Sigh. I have to move on, I guess. Another chapter of my life is on it's way and guess what? The first day of the year means 14 days to go til my birthday! I'm turning 16 and before that day comes, I just want to recall everything that happened throughout the year that went.
January shall be happy. ALWAYS! Like what I've mentioned earlier, it's my birth month! So as much as possible, no heartbreaks, tears and the like. Errr, irregardless of January 14, 2009 though. Hihi. Ok! My birthday went great, and the rest is as well. But the best thing about January is having no classes for 3 days because of our usual school fair! Yayyy!!! Upon learning that this is my last, I'm just glad that I made the most out of it. Polished nails, Rice in a box, Pizza hut, THE Campus Crush Booth (Which I was able to experience), Comedy Show something... everything was just great. A week after, Teacher's Day is celebrated! I was lucky - slash - unfortunate to be picked as one of the performers. Teehee. Whatever, let us move on.
February is love month. Hello, Valentines' Day is just around the corner! My most hated holiday of all... LOL! Kidding. Did I sound so bitter? Hoho, I'm not with someone else then but my eyes are full because of too much eye candies -- it's intramurals month as well! If you're talking 'bout team spirit, I have none for mine... but at least I enjoyed being with other sections, sorry!
March marks the end of the school year... and start of freedom! It's almost summer break, and I just had the grandest time on the first day of summer when St. Louis has a sort-of reunion at Quenny's place! But before all of that, we had Prom. Yes, PROOOOOM. It was that night where everybody gets glammed up and I swear, I was one of those girly girls then who left her sense of manhood somewhere.
In June, you can hear the bells. School bells, that is! We're back to school! And if you want to see how my first day went, go here. Anyway, St. Thomas usn't that bad after all.! And that was the first thing that I proved.
August is just as crazy. UPCAT month!!! The experience was nerve-wracking and exciting combined. I just wished that I'll pass there though. Oh and, Buwan ng Wika! My class topped the first ever elimination of that event!!! We're just too unfortunate that we landed on the second place during the finals. Screw the freakin' shiznitty computer which was on mute Oh and, to top all that, I was one of the chosen ones who danced during the program. I've got new friends -- the Metallics!
September would have to be the liberating month. And yes, I'm talking about our Retreat! 3 days of peace, holiness, and quirkiness! Our classes bonded pretty well. That we even watched MALPRISAA together, lol! Volleyball was held in our school... that made the admiration grew stronger. LOOOOOOL, kay. And I almost forgot how our class topped the eliminations for History Month! Helluhvuh! Darned technicalities again, we landed 4th. But heck, we grew better.
October is suppose to be the holiest month but because traditions are changed, we weren't able to complete the 9 day novena. Sigh. But our procession was just as memorable -- it rained really hard! And that was a blessing. Perhaps it's good luck for our USTET weeks after. Let me pass, please!!!
November is most probably the IDK month. Looool, I can't remember anything! But I'm sure it's the English month, and loads of activities paved our way! Our class wasn't able to bag prizes unlike before, but I can say we did great. NO, I'M NOT BIASED!
I hope 2011 would be just as great. Not just mine, your's as well! Thanks 2010,you made my life worth living.
xx, Jowi ♥
P.S.: Happy New Year! From my couzern and I. :)
